St. Augustine Lighthouse Florida
St. Augustine Lighthouse is found in America's oldest city. Discovered in 1513, by Don Juan Ponce de Leon, Spain hoped to clain this city as it's own. It was actually founded by the French in 1564. Florida's first lighthouse was built in 1824 at the site of the current St. Augustine Lighthouse. After the original lighthouse was no longer sustainable this lighthouse was built in 1871. It remains one of America's most beautiful, and most visited lighthouses.
